One man’s journey to discover the bitter truth about sugar.

NB:  If you are not in Whakatane, you can see all the other places in NZ and Asutralia that you can see this film at this link:  http://www.thatsugarfilm.com/screenings/

There’s a great new documentary about the effects of sugar on the body, running at Whakamax this Wednesday 3 June at 5.40pm.   (Site editor’s note:  It is possible that this screening is booked out already so please check out the cinema website as I believe more screening are planned…)

We took the kids with us to watch it last night – a sell-out screening – and we all came away thoroughly entertained, horrified and enlightened. A roller-coaster ride, offering the best a documentary can deliver in 90 minutes. Who needs fiction, I ask myself?!

You can get tickets at a concessionary rate ($11) if you present your Michelle’s Health & Nutrition Loyalty Card. Otherwise, it’s $14 at the door, but book early. Running time 90 minutes.
