Claire Prebble is fundraising so she can travel to Germany for cancer treatment.

Claire (pictured in one of the costumes she designed and made herself) has metastatic melanoma and has been offered only radiation and chemotherapy as treatments in NZ.  The NZ specialists involved in her care have been honest and told Claire that while radiation and chemotherapy may extend her life, they are not curative treatments for the type of cancer that Claire has developed, hence her decision to travel overseas to a clinic which was recommended to her.
