There is a proposal for the agency Food Standards Australia NZ to allow low THC hemp seed foods to be sold.

Currently in NZ, the cold pressed oil made from low-THC strains of hemp is sold. (It is high in essential fatty acids and makes a good salad oil.)
If access to low-THC hemp foods were liberalised, New Zealanders and Australians would also be able to buy hemp seed milk and other products made from hemp seeds which are a good vegetarian protein source.
