Website editor’s note: Issue 7 of The NZ Journal of Natural Medicine featured an article on the use of urea and creatine for liver cancer or cancer that has metastasised into the liver.
The use of urea and creatine (discovered by Greek physician Evangelos Danopolous) provides a simple and non toxic treatment for cancer in the liver that is not routinely discussed with cancer patients in NZ.
Taking urea and creatine may help resolve unpleasant symptoms from cancer in the liver such as nausea.
As the article states, urea also has potential as a treatment option for other cancers.

It is potentially applicable to both primary liver cancers and cancer that has spread (metastasised) to the liver.
While this is not the only potential treatment for liver cancer (for example, some liver tumours may be able to be treated surgically and injection of ethanol into liver tumours may also be an option) the urea and creatine treament discovered by Greek physician Evangelos Danopolous provides a simple and non toxic treatment option for cancer in the liver that is not routinely discussed with cancer patients in NZ.
As with any cancer treatment, it is advisable to discuss its suitability with a health professional and to have a monitoring plan in place.
