Introducing Issue 58 of The NZ Journal of Natural Medicine
The NZ Journal of Natural Medicine feature stories are “How to Protect Yourself from Radiation Poisoning” and “The Olive Leaf Miracle”.
“How to Protect Yourself from Radiation Poisoning” seemed topical given the current conflicts in the world including strikes near nuclear facilities. And with winter just around the corner, it also seemed timely to review the many benefits of olive leaf – a premier antiviral herb, one which also has neuro-protective (and blood pressure lowering) effects.
Other articles in this issue focus on neurological issues, including a feature article about how a baby’s developing brain can be damaged by routine vaccinations – and what this can mean for a child’s future.
Our “Difficult Acupuncture Case Study” for issue 58 relates a case of how acupuncture (and homoeopathy) provided welcome relief from a woman who had been suffering from ongoing symptoms from a traumatic brain injury (TBI) sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
Cardiovascular health is again featured in this issue with an article about the serious power of a garlic and lemon combination to improve the function of the cardiovascular system – as well as how enzymes may help reduce arterial plaque.
In “Better Health on a Shoestring” we feature an article about the benefits of citrus peel tea – a low cost (and delicious) way to boost your health.
If stress has been affecting your ability to sleep, you may also find the articles on the homoeopathic treatment of insomnia – and the amino acid L-theanine to be of special interest. (Jonathan swears by it!)
All this – and much more – in issue 58 of The NZ Journal of Natural Medicine.
Wishing you the best of health!
– Katherine Smith and Jonathan Eisen, Editors
