This is an important article that parents should read, especially because it discusses a possible link between hexavalent vaccines – those that contain antigens for pertussis (whooping cough), diptheria, tetanus, haemophilus influenzae, hepatitis B and polio combined into the one shot – and unexpected death in infants.

A hexavalent vaccine (Infanrix-hexa) is on the list of vaccines that are subsidised for NZ babies aged six weeks, three months and five months.
