As regular readers of The NZ Journal of Natural Medicine may know The No Jab No Pay legislation was passed in Australia.
As is explained in the article “Coercive Medicine Comes to Australia” on page 13 of issue 20 (you can download a free sample of this issue which includes page 13 at this link) this legislation means that families in which children are not vaccinated in accordance with the legislation lose eligibility to child care subsidies and a family tax credit. This can penalise these families up to $15,000 per child per year.
Tasha David, who is the president of the Australian Vaccination-Skeptics Network (previously known as the Australian Vaccination Network) has shared some thoughts about how parents could respond to the No Jab No Pay legislation on her blog at this link https://polymumof8.wordpress.com/2015/12/15/no-jab-no-payplay-implications-for-families-presently-holding-a-conscientious-objection-in-australia/
Some initial feedback to the AVN from people who have tried this strategy suggests it is worth considering.
Legal Challenge to No Jab No Pay under consideration
In Australia, the Australian Vaccination-skeptics Network (AVN) an organisation that supports freedom of choice regarding vaccination is calling for pledges to a legal challenge against the No Jab No Pay legislation.
